This gorgeous M6 Competition was booked in following a recommendation from a long term client. The 2015 car was presented in Singapore Grey with a stunning terracotta extended interior, so the day's challenge was to improve the paint's appearance with protection, alongside cleaning and refreshing the interior condition. A big car with a lot of surface area, and some pretty significant issues to turnaround on the day.
My client was only six weeks into ownership of this 45,000 mile car and it's fair to say that the car looked like the previous owner had enjoyed the 575hp and 190mph potential! Nothing to worry about as such, but certainly a long way from where my client wanted it to be, and as I look after so many of his friends' cars, I was called in to restore visual peace and harmony. The car was thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated, mapped and inspected, and then a plan was hatched on the day so as to best deliver meaningful results that would stay looking good for many months ahead. With this in mind the car was machine polished with more than one pad and polishing liquid combination, to try and squeeze the maximum gloss and clarity from the paintwork in such a short relative timescale. The paintwork and alloys were then sealed with synthetic sealant to give my client many months of easy maintenance over the all important Summer months. At the same time exhausts were hand polished, brightwork like the grille was hand polished, and tail lights and headlights were machine polished to reduce the wash marks and high speed bug marks, restoring clarity. Moving onto the interior, the leather was deep cleaned and then protected with the Colour Lock two stage treatment, carpets were cleaned and vacuumed, and the luxurious and technology packed interior was cleaned top to toe including door shuts and hinged areas too. All of this work was completed at my client's home address so maximum convenience, and zero hassle apart from a few lovely cups of coffee!! If you'd like your car to receive a similar treatment, please don't hesitate to get in touch via email or phone. Thanks for reading S. |
